Anyone can do normal, but that’s not me. I’m a curious person who loves finding out about what makes people tick . I embrace being a weird and wonderful nerd.
If you’re also ‘different’, then I might be the Celebrant for you.
Society expects us to behave and dress in particular ways to mark milestones. Those ways don’t work for everyone. You do have options! Finding someone who ‘gets’ you and can reflect who you really are is vital for your day to be shiny.

When my world fell apart, because of someone’s wrong decision, what could I do? My family was heartbroken too. Being their mum, I had to be strong for them. So I couldn’t turn to them. But then a beautiful lady stood by my side and helped me more than I could have believed. Michelle- she’s caring, loving, quiet spoken, loyal, truthful, helpful. I could go on forever. She rescued me from the dark place I was in.

I met Michelle in 1999 when she was fundraising for a charity. We bonded immediately, over our mutual love of Buffy. Although she moved away to a different part of the country, we always stayed in touch. She was very supportive after I lost my wife in 2011. Her messages also helped me during the 14 months I was isolated home alone during the covid pandemic.
After the pandemic we have been able to meet up on a number of occasions where she has been supporting either my work or at LGBTQ+ events.
